The programme is built in three parts. The core technology courses provide the basic building blocks for the modern product realization process by providing a thorough grounding in Material science, Manufacturing technology, Design for manufacturing environment, the latest computer assisted tools on the factory floor and fundamentals of Industrial engineering and management. The core courses in management provide an introduction to modern management, exposure to financial measurement and in-depth operations management. Each student with the assistance of a faculty advisor has the opportunity to take up application oriented research projects spanning two semesters and select electives best suited to their career needs from an approved list of specialized electives.
